Welcome to the new Title Resource Network blog! We're excited to use this space to share tips and tricks, highlight important industry and community news and talk about what makes the TRN family so important to the communities we serve across our four-state footprint.

To our fellow real estate professionals, if you're already writing a blog or at least thinking about it, here are some extra tips to enhance your blogging experience. And if you're not, here are some reasons you should consider joining us in this blog-writing endeavor.

It's a great way to highlight your local expertise.

All of us know real estate is the ultimate local business. While we know we work with some of the best Realtors and loan officers in our markets, everyone else should, too. Blogging is a great way to share knowledge, spotlight what makes your community special and trumpet any good news you have to share. Real estate is all about trust and becoming a thought leader through blogging is an easy way to reinforce your reputation.

It helps with website SEO and Google rankings.

Search engines want to direct internet users to sites with updated information that is worth reading. That's exactly what a blog is. Just be sure to post regularly—and don't worry about length. However long it takes you to tell a story is plenty long enough. After all, the goal of this blog is to inform AND entertain.

It can help tell your story and attract future business.

Modern customers want to know that the people and businesses they partner with 1) know what they're doing, 2) care about what they're doing and 3) share some of the same ideals as they do. The hope is that by sharing tips and part of your personal experience, you're able to build rapport and trust with your audience and future clients.

It can make your social media easier and more unique.

We get it. Even if you love writing, starting a blog may seem a bit daunting. But we encourage you to take a leap. After all, you can post your blogs on social media and even experiment with video recaps or pulled quote graphics to capture even more of your audience's attention. The bottom line is that creating a great blog is not just about great content; it's about making sure that great content gets in front of the people you want to read it. (In addition to posting our regular blogs in this space, we'll also be sending out a shorter version as a marketing email to our friends and customers. To subscribe to that list, click here.)

It's shaping up to be a great time in real estate in 2024, and the Title Resource Network is thrilled to have this new space to share some of the reasons why with our readers like you. Want to see a specific topic or feature as part of our new effort? Just let us know next time you're around one of our closing tables. Our TRN team is always here to be the knowledgeable title and abstract professionals you can trust.
